Best Amiga game you discovered in 2016

Merry Christmas everyone!

What is the best Amiga game you discovered in 2016?

*Can be a release from any year but you only started playing this year. Also let me know if you heard of the game before but never played.

I don't even know where to begin with this one... 2016 has been a great year for the Amiga

I've also added roughly an extra 1000 games to my WinUAE collection; you can see my slightly out-of-date list here...

Anyway; for now I'll say Space Taxi 3

Escape from Planet of the Robot Monsters is my gem for 2016.
http://hol.abime.net/2868

Never heard of it before, but was looking for old games pre-1991 (when I first got an Amiga). I have a Gotek in a500 and this ADF was a great find, great looking game, lots of humour. Surprised I missed it first time around.

Fyi I have spend more than 300 hours on this game.
I had drawn everything from the scratch, also sfx and game planning. After that I was really tired, that's why I was not so much involved in the end on blocky skies.

I wouldn't say it's the best. But Reshoot had potential. Such a shame it did not deliver what I was expecting. Still a good game though.

SWOS 2016 / 2017 edition - thanks to everyone who contributed to that.

Impressively, it's managed to get my lad off Fifa 15 on the PS3 so we can play a 'proper' footy game together (specifically one that's got Gareth Bale playing for Real). There's another generation of retro-gamers coming along

Me, I started playing Lotus 2 - as recommended by many on this site. I was never really into those 2D racers in the day as 3D and karting games were in the ascendant. It's great fun though.

You should try the arcade original... though in Mame it's kinda hard to play it unless you use an analog controller , since the arcade used an analog stick,

Lotus 2 was my go-to back in the day, really good sprites and moves nicely. The music was awesome on Lotus, I still remember one of the level passwords, "PEA SOUP".

If you enjoy Lotus 2, you may also like Jaguar XJ220.

The best Amiga game that I had never seen before 2016 has to be Tearaway Thomas.

and Lotus III.

Probably the best racing games i started playing again.

Actually, i prefer lotus 2 music than 1, and 3 more than 2 ...

Well, i'm all over the place.

I'm obviously biased towards blocky skies, but it's kind of funny because I originally didn't think it would be a game I would enjoy playing. But I needed complete it to ensure it was possibly and in the end I really enjoyed it (the final levels were quite a challenge for me).

Hopefully I'll be able to do another game in 2017.
