Lotus 2

Hi jotd,
if you have time,
it should be interesting to have the lotus trilogy cd32 with music for lotus 2,
and why not even the possibility to keep the motor sound + music(cdda).
To make it the ultimate lotus compil.
I think lotus 2 don't really need new cdda tracks, it could take the tracks from lotus 3 and 1 (cdda).
If you make the patch perhaps someone will make the music later.
What other amigans thing about it, lotus 2 with musics from lotus 1 and 3, why not ???

Would be a good idea especially with cdda so we could change out the tracks ourselves for our own favorite music to play along to.

The cd32 version is just if i'm not wrong, adf version on a cd, something like this and they patched the music to take the cd-audio.
A normal whdload installation would lead to disk version without music, i could be wrong off-course.

No Lotus Trilogy CD32 is native to CD32.

@NeoHippie2016: http://www.whdload.de/games/Lotus2.html

Version 1.3 (16.09.1999)
- support for the "Lotus Trilogy" version added

for lotus 3: same thing: http://www.whdload.de/games/Lotus3.html

SUPPORTED VERSIONS:
- original release (supported by Helmut Motzkau)
- Lotus 3 Eine Exklusive Sammlung (supported by Heiko Scharbert)
- Lotus Trilogy compilation (supported by Arif Pervez)

Well, that's a good idea for Lotus 2, since it's the only one without music. However, I did Silkworm CD32 using music from another game and that didn't please some people. So I guess that if I propose tracks from Lotus 3 or Lotus 1 it will be the same thing. Well, still very tempting, as the game would rock even more with music.

Can someone help with the track selection? picking tunes from Lotus 1 and/or Lotus 3?

The music from SNES Top Gear as they are essentially remixed lotus 1 tunes with the Lotus 2 ending music as its title music.

If you want to change the music ferom those who are already on the compilation, i'm more for snes music.
I don't like too much the megadrive music, but in reality i don't really care.
About a silkworm like reaction, i don't thing it will happen with this one, because lotus 1 2 3 came from the same coders and have the same taste with their differences but all-in-one, they are brothers, same adn.
But why not doing this reverse? if you have the time, you make the patch, don't take care of the music (cdda), ask for some guys to propose you some iso ready to go (with new cdda music), and you'll have just to choose between the choices. Just distribute the slave by PM to 3 or 4 guys or more and wait for the results.

It will make less work for you , and if you are not please with the result, just do like usual. But i think you'll have good surprises.

ps: i just try to help.

I guess Retro1234 meant (Megadrive) Lotus Turbo Challenge which is actually (Amiga) Lotus 2:

listen, there is plenty of good tracks on the cd32 original version...
I think everybody will be please with just keeping those tracks but making them available when you play lotus 2.
If the tracks where bad or doesn't fit well with lotus 2, ok.
But they are good and they fit, perhaps it's possible to add one more track, there is a good remix of lotus 2 intro music but that's all is needed, i think.
If somebody wants to create later special tracks for lotus 2, why not.
I always thought that it was a shame that lotus 2 has no music, and what more a shame is that they had the possibilty to easily add it to the cd32 compil but they didn't !!!
