x-surf 100 issue when isntalling Easynet

Trying to get my A4000 online and when installing Easynet right near the end of the installation I'm getting the following error before the system hangs while trying to access the Live Update server..

"Datacache is enabled. please use special x-surf device with data-cache disabled" ?
I got the latest x-surf-100.device file from icomp.dem and followed installation instructions for installing in a 68060 system.

well looks like I messed up some datatypes after trying to install Easynet...after rebooting Im getting " cannot open resource.library" version 44. Unable to run AmiDock"

quick search tells me to copy over missing datatype files from the OS3.9 CD but just checked and they're all there?

The message has nothing to do with datatypes but with gadget and image classes and it's not about missing classes but about too old classes. You probably installed ClassAct (no, not installed, just copied without checking version numbers). This was a downgrade of the required classes. Check the whole classes directory against that of the OS 3.9 CD. You might also need to reinstall the boingbags.
