On WinUAE launch

I've noticed that when I launch Winuae, it sometimes tries to establish a connection to the internet. Is it a feature ?

According to my firewall, the only time WinUAE tries to access the internet is when I load AWeb or AmigaMail (or any other web-accessing program from within AmigaOS). WinUAE doesn't appear to be accessing the internet at any other time, definitely not when launching (even with BSD Socket Emulation enabled).

Don't know what it could be. Have you checked your computer for spyware recently? Try Adaware or SpyBot to clean things up.

Steve.

Probably his firewall detects winuae as an "internet enabled" application and that's it.

Is it right?
