Urban Shakedown produced a top 40 hit 'Some Justice' using an Amiga (ironically I'd bought the single before I knew this). It got them on the cover of Amiga Format issue 36.

I know Front 242 used Amigas for their artwork, but I doubt they used it for their music. I also doubt Depeche Mode used Amigas. They already had money enough halfway the 80s to buy the state of the art synths such as the Emulator II etc.

Most likely they all used STs with Cubase though....

I only came here to say Up The Irons !!!!
Still, many pop bands here in Greece used A500s and A2000s during the 90's during some stage of the production or another.

I know the two DJs that call themselves Psychonauts used the Amiga to play samples during their 4 deck scratch sets, one of their more famous CDs available [ Show youtube player ]. (Ignore James Lavelle's name, he stole credit for their set). You can hear Street Fighter samples being played near the start, that was on the Amiga. Interview with them here mentioning it.

That's interesting I really like their mixes and did not know they used to use an amiga. I wonder if their Album was made using one?

The only other one I can add is that Betty Boo used and amiga as a sequencer for her first album... and what a fine album it was
