Need help restoring my system

I installed PeterK's icon set on my A1200 following these instructions:

Compare your system with the IconDemoADF from the first post of this thread.

Compare the s/startup-sequence and add the missing lines to your startup-sequence.

Take a filesystem browser like DOpus4 and copy all missing files from the following directories to your system:
C, CopyIcon, Libs, Prefs, Prefs/Env-Archive and WBStartup.
Update the icon.library in Libs: with the latest version from Aminet.

Now I've lost my keyboard layout, wallpaper and Indivision AGA settings. Can anyone tell me which files I destroyed so I can restore the correct ones from my HD backup?

You shouldn't have 'destroyed' anything (except perhaps icon.library) and working backwards should undo any changes you've made - did copying the files to C, CopyIcon, Libs, Prefs, Prefs/Env-Archive and WBStartup overwrite anything?

Which version of icon.library did you install? (version libs:icon.library)

*Edit* also, are you running FBlit?

Thanks Aegis. I used Filer to copy the files and was never prompted about overwriting - but Filer overwrites without prompt by default.

Comparing the backup to the floppy, I can see that some .prefs files are definitely overwritten in System:Prefs/Env-Archive/Sys. I haven't looked further. Thing is, I actually want to keep the new icons if possible and just get my personal settings back.

I installed the icon.library from the adf to System:Libs, but there was no such library there beforehand according to my backup.

Edit: Yes, FBlit is installed.

I was able to dd the old image back to the CF and I'm up and running again. Maybe I'll leave the icons alone

It's really worth it. The speed difference is noticeable.
