Shadow Fighter CD32 GFX Glitches

I’m running the CD32 Shadow Fighter (on winuae 2.01 standard Cd32 config) and I’m getting graphical glitches on certain sections of parallax bg and fighters.

For example, a stone pillar in the bg would overlap a part of the fighter’s body, such as his/her legs.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so can it be fixed (different config or iso, or an undated winuae etc?)

Thanx for any help in advance

Cheers
Tony

Get the latest WinUAE from http://www.winuae.net/ and make sure you have cycle-exact enabled on the chipset panel.

i will get the latest winuae.
As for the cycle exact option.
Recently (on lemon amiga) I started a thread about why a few games would max out on cpu, causing crackling and slowdown. Shadow fighter was one of those games.
The advice I got was to turn of cycke exact and it worked giving me normal cpu activity.

I also remember playing the game with cycle exact selected and it didnt fix the parallax problems

Cheers

got the new version of winuae (havent checked the glitches yet), but the configuration files are all messed up now (i thought it would eba simple case of copying them over).
The display is a bit crappy, like filtered almost, and smaller than before.

I downloaded the latest dx9 just before installing. Hope none of this has messed it up?

Are there many differences between this version and 2.01?

Cheers

It's not your configs, but the default WinUAE filter settings that messed up your display. Go to the filter panel, select the filter you want (or select none) and disable auto-scaling. Set the controls, sound, and graphics to your liking and save the config as 'default.uae'. That should 'fix' it.

There's a changelog (Docs\Readme.txt) included if you're interested.

Done all the above. Winuae 2.30 now working perfectly on Direct Draw settings and i've saved the config.
Still got the issues with parallax though on Shadow Fighter.
Cheers
