Warp Engine 4040 in A3000?

Will a Warp Engine 4040 work in an A3000 with the INT2-mod, and fit below the floppy drives if using half-height SIMM sticks?

(The 3040 has the INT2 connector and two angled SIMM sockets, are there other differences?)

The manual for the 3040 says:

Now you need to attach the Red clip to pin 21 of CIA U350 on the
motherboard. This clip has to be attached so that the SCSI controller
receives the interrupt signal required for proper operation

I'm not quite sure if this is exactly the same as the INT2 mod but I guess running a wire from JP4 on a 4040 to pin 21 would do the trick?

Thanks. From what I've read the A3040 red clip fixes the INT2 problem, like the other INT2-mods.

I don't have the 4040 here to test it yet. And the A3000 I was hoping to use it with is defective at the moment, but still curious to know if it would work.
I was hoping someone here had tried it. Also not sure it will fit with ram installed, without modifying the A3000 internal frame. I guess it doesn't fit with full height RAM, since they bothered to change the design for the A3040.

WarpEngine 4040 will mechanically not fit into A3000 with RAM installed.
