I spoke to AcidRAIN on Sunday and he said they had none left (made up) and were not planning to make anymore. I would get confirmation on this but I think you're too late.

The larger the order, the less likely they are going to fill it. The boards were being put together by hand by LordV and like myself he's a lazy git One every couple of weeks aint too bad. 5-10 in a short space of time... too much like hard work.
I don't blame him, at the aggressive price of $45 they made little or no profit. Perhaps, if you could get a large enough order (and pay a premium) he might send away to have them made up? But I doubt it. I tried to talk them into getting them assembled in china but it proved too much like hard work to research the subject The last word from AcidRain was that they were considering licensing the schematics and PLD contents to someone else (Amiga Kit?) to have them made up. Passing the buck on the hard work of arranging their production. But it was just something they were considering. This is all hearsay. You'll have to contact them direct to find out exactly what they are planning. Last edited by alexh; 27 January 2009 at 12:25. |

Consider me interested, I'd take 2 if that's not too greedy.

@all
all i want to know is if you are interested, once i get an idea of the numbers involved I can then get a cost, if its to much from LDV/AcidReign since it was an open project I will have the boards made in Thialand and I can assemble and programm them here and TC has wonderfully offered to help out assembling them. so if you are interested please post that and howmany you would be interested in. |
