You mean the TX/RX line voltage level ? Yes it is, these pins are 5V tolerant.

I have to burn LHA files on CD everytime I need to transfer... -.-

You can use this tool to put your LHA files into an ADF image:

Size limit is obviously just what you can fit on a floppy - 880kB, although it should now be possible to use HD images, taking the limit to 1.76MB. Not sure if this tool supports HD images though.

Jeff, is there a hard limit of 999 files in the .cfg file (for modes that use the config, obviously!)?

I can't add more than 999 files (plus auto at at 000).

it's possible but the current limitation is the gotek display. unless i switch the display in hexa mode.

Just use the HxC software. You can create empty adf/hfe and drag any files to the images with the disk browser function.

You can also create a folder on the pc/mac/linux with the extension ".amigados" (example : mydisk.amigados). put the lha files into this folder. Just drag&drop the folder on the main software window and then export the image to HFE/ADF.

you mean the size limit of an amiga floppy disk ? this is an amigados limit.
the hfe can store floppy disks of 10MB

Sorry, I should have been more specific.

I put together a small exe to help making lists for use with the HXCFEMNG.EXE and -setslots.

If I use a text file with more than 999 entries, it seems to fall over.
It either doesn't work, or only sets the first 999. (usually it doesn't work)

Anyway DD AmigaDos floppy format is limited to 880KB.
