Damocles - Mercenary II

Hello all!
After years of great service my Dmocles floppy disk stopped working

i replaced it with a copy from internet but i was able to find ONLY 5 different NOT ORIGINAL adf copies, all are crunched and at least 3 copies hang my a500.
i found 2 working copies but the LOAD/SAVE routine do not work (it give DISK ERROR) without saving & loading the game is COMPLETELY useless.
is there someone with a working (original copy) of Damocles, please?

Save disk may have specific name to be recognized by game.

If there is someone near you with a Kryoflux or a SupercardPro you'll be able to write back the original disk image to any disk.

@s2325: i have a save game disk that i used with Damocles,but it isn't recognized by the cracked copy

@alexh: i've not the original disk image since nobody here have a kryoflux to made a backup copy

does exist an adf with original game on it?

There are 2 ipf releases of this game you could use but, as alexh suggested, you will need access to a kryoflux or supercardpro to write the ipf's to disk.

The disk is ndos formated so I doubt that an adf will exist for this game and even if it did, it would not be original.

EDIT: S2325's adf has proved me wrong there, although not original, it would be close enough.

@ S2325: gived it a quick try on WinUAE it doesn't appear to be able to save games, tomorrow i wil try on real amiga

Have uploaded a *working* Damocles save disk. Has been tested on all cracked versions, ipf versions with no problems at all. Have also included a docs/map disk for the game as well. Has a starmap and lots of hints in there including key commands etc.

Nice little game this one!

*Warning* If you save on only ONE save game disk while playing both an ipf and a cracked version of the game then this will corrupt the save game disk. Use separate save game disks for each game!

now the hard part: to recreate the real floppy from adf, should Adf Blitzer work?
