WHDLoad Keyboard not working after running game

Hi guys,

just got the wife's 1200 working, and have a problem with the keyboard stops working after running a game I.E. Arcade Pool you add a player name press the backspace key once to delete "Player one" you get "Player on" and that is it no more keyboard except the 3 finger salute.

I initially thought it was the AC1221EC card but i have put my AC1221 (NON EC) in and it is doing the same

the specs are 4GB CF with 2 partitions both 2GB
ClassicWB Lite
WHDLoad 18.2

any ideas?

You mean:

- you can't do anything else with the game?
- does the quitkey work?
- Did you try other games? and while the keyboard isn't working is the music playing, mouse/joy responsive?

Have you tried running those games with JST instead of WHDLoad (just to test) ?

BTW I think you should've posted in "project/whdload" section (http://eab.abime.net/forumdisplay.php?f=63), not "Support/Games"

Hi JOTD,

Thanks for reply. The quit key doesnt work, you can play the game but to quit you have to CTRL A A. all games are the same, they work but cant press any keys so you cant quit the game.

Dont have JST!

Thanks JOTD,

I'm currently setting it up but can you elaborate on the term "Install" as no installer, so is it a case of copy JST folder into C directory?

yes, just copy JST in C:, it's pretty similar to whdload, except that it doesn't support 68040/68060 MMU systems too well (it used to work but I simplified it, targetting lower configurations like 68000 => 68020 & kickstart 1.3 including CD32 + fastmem)

JOTD,

I done a complete fresh install of CWB Lite in Jo's and same problem so I decided to try the CF Card in my A1200 with the ACA1221 card and and her keyboard (with the new membrane)..<drum roll> it worked.

Now correct me if im wrong but i read somewhere about the ACA1221 card not working properly on some board revisons and removing caps! which is not my forte, i never was any good at soldering/desoldering.

I don't know about this I only do the software
