Solid Gold to be released December/January
We are nearly done! Except the high score list, the end sequence and some fine tuning everything is finished. We hope to release this new platform game for Amiga OCS (512k chip, 512k fast) around the end of the year.
The game can be described as a mixture between Turrican, Giana Sisters and Rick Dangerous, is coded in 100% M68k assembler and offers soft 8-way scrolling at 50fps (including animated fore- and background tiles) and a sophisticated BOB engine. The game has four worlds (London, Maya, Egypt, Babylon) with completely different graphics, and ten levels, where each level has different music. Some pictures: |

Great you got it done - and in relatively short time, IIRC? Looking forward to it!

I forgot to mention that the game will be completely free and offered as an ADF image.
I even plan to release the full source text as public domain, to give some motivation and help for future game designers. |

Looks good ! Thanks a lot for this game ! I'd be also happy to donate something if it can help you doing more games for Amiga.

I agree that there should be a donation scheme. I'd love to buy a boxed copy, but obviously manufacturing costs would be silly. MAYBE you should give the game away, but offer the source code for a donation?
