Netplay Please

To the developers of WinUAE;
When are you going to include a netplay feature into WinUAE. Im dying to be able to play games such as worms and lotus turbo challenge with mates over the net.

ZSNES has successfully had a netplay feature incorporated into it so how about WinUAE as well. There has been a project by someone else to combine Kaillera with WinUAE but its not very good. So a direct IP link situation like ZSNES would be great. I have been waiting for years for something like this to happen.

Joystick emulation through the net has been done by Sane with the WinUAE kaillera, but serial linkup is not easy as you might think, therefore comparing winuae with the emulator of a lame console is just not fair.

I am still not interested. At all.

Any feature that does not interest me have following simple requirements:

a) for some reason I suddenly become interested (hah)
b) pay lots of money, donate hardware etc..

and: if it is non-emulation feature (can't be tested on real hardware, does not exist in real world): examples, documentation, specifications. Anything closed source: Not acceptable.

I completely understand your reasons and I never thought you would change your mind.

Would you be willing to help/guide someone through the process of adding netplay? You wouldn't have to do any coding as part of the idea I am proposing.
Of course it would have to be someone who is fully capable of doing it, not someone who is hopeful of doing it.

Mr. Toni give to us a reason why ?
There is lot of games which is probably do as online games:
The Settlers,Hired Guns and many many more but why you give up ?
I understand this is Amiga and I respect all what You do for Any Amiga Fans.
And i want to change Your mind for Amiga online (Private servers) Because i wish Amiga's best times back for old Amiga Fans.

Continually asking is not going to spark any enthusiasm in Toni, in fact, you are probably making it worse. I do want netplay, but I have accepted Toni's reasons, which he has stated in other threads besides this one.

This is why I am suggesting a different course of action. -_-
