Question ACA500 problem

Hi all

I just got my ACA500 in the post today I read the instructions fitted the card powered up my A500 its a 1mb KS 1.2 with a HxC slim and I got no power light and a black screen on my monitor
So I turned the power off on the Amiga and unplugged the ACA powered up my A500 and it worked fine I tried another A500 I have 1mb KS 1.3 same thing so I hooked up my KS 1.2 A500 with the ACA500 fitted again but this time I got a power light on the A500 but a black screen still I am guessing it could be a power supply issues right ??

Any help or ideas would be great

I have had lots of wierd and wonderful things happen in testing with many different motherboards.

All resolved by cleaning connector.

You can get various contact sprays but I use IPA (Isopropyl alcohol)

You can also use a pencil eraser on the contacts this works well
