I owned all except an A3000, did use one a few times but it wasn't mine. Nice styling on that machine too....the A1000 and A3000 are probably the two sweetest looking serious machines they built in the range.
Still own most, although I've run out of drives to replace the knackered internal ones on half (butchered most of my external floppy drives...down to just two ooops!) |

Guess I am lucky to have a 3000 judging by the poll.
Never used a 1000/4000/cd32/cdtv/600. |

I grew up poor in the 80s and never had the chance to go amiga when the rest of the scene did. So I stayed on the 128 in the 64 scene and claimed it was a political decision like most of the rest of us
About 3 or 4 years ago I decided to try and relive part of my youth and I went on an Amiga Binder. Many Many Amiga's later, and say 10 to 15k usd, I have a pretty nice stock pile now, including the remaining inventory of a dealer I bought out. I have like 7 2000s, with most of the different style face plates, I was surprised just how many variants there were. The only one I still want is a 2500, for some reason I just want 1... A buddy of mine gave me a 1000 which was what started the endeavor in the first place, though I have never really played with it. I got busted in the 80s for hacking with my 128, and they confiscated all my gear. My dad bought me a 500 a couple years later, but it mainly sat in the box as I really didn't know where to begin with it at the time. I have a 4k toaster, and 2 3ks. The 500+ is the only other Amiga I would like to score along with the 2500, if anyone is interested in a trade or anything... The woman likes to rag on me for all my Commodore Junk I am a fan.. got the 1200 and a 128 set up in the bedroom. Got my 128 pretty decked out also, with Ramlink, CMD HD, and some other goodies... here's a pic if anyone wants to see... http://www.digirock.net/commodore/NewPix/MainSetup.jpg http://www.digirock.net/commodore/NewPix/RightSide.jpg http://www.digirock.net/commodore/NewPix/SunLCD64.jpg All running on the SUN 18" LCD... pretty sweet setup if I say so myself.. the 1200 is on a slide out keyboard drawer to the left of the monitor under the desk. -Info |

Aside from having a play with a store demo A4000 (and drooling over WB3.0 in the process!), I've not touched the big box miggys.
Same goes for the CDTV (don't know anyone who had one!) and CD32 (ditto!) Have owned or played with friends/family A500, A500+, A600 and A1200 only! |

I own all except CDTV, A600, A1200 and CD32. Most Amiga stores in Canada disappeared around 1991 (at least in my area), so I never saw - or even heard of - any of the later Amigas until I researched it years later. I had no idea AGA even existed until I read about it in 2002. The first time I saw an AGA Amiga in real life was last year when somebody gave me a free "old computer" which turned out to be an A4000.

I have never seen an A600 IRL. I guess I never understood why someone would pick one over the 1200, price I guess but still...

The poll results very much surprised me, as I thought most people would of used an A500, but the A1000 has had the most users!

Long story short, I sold it fairly soon afterward. Neat to look at but not terribly useful. |

Which Classic Amiga have I NOT played with? Pretty much all of them lol, still trying to get to grips with my 1200 (s) "Back in the day" I was a BBC Micro/Acorn Archimedes kid (UK Schooling to blame for that) . *I think* I may have seen an Amiga 500 at a mate's house (Batman Pack sounds familiar....)
