I note that the "Launch of Amiga X1000" is listed as a Speaker event on the VCF site...

I can recommend Holiday-Express-Inn - its about 7 miles from the event and a 2 Single bed twin room was £48 (includes breakfast)

So with 2 sharing that a piffle £24 including a sunday fryup breakfast... much cheaper than the huddersfield event!

Heres their phone / order number 01908 681000 check in after 3pm and checkout before 12pm

really looking forward to meeting up with peoples =D

Final Call. This weekend. How many EAB'ers care coming?

We have 2 Amiga 500's which will be running Stunt Car Racer, Possibly Sensi or Kickoff 2 or maybe something else, who knows.

In addition Zetro will be running games and other stuff from his table too! plenty of fun to be had folks!

Now, who's coming? :-)

Oh yes indeed...

we will have r0jaws PPC project (should turn a few heads), *hopefully* linked up with a A4000 CSmk2 060 for bit of doom networking lol.

there will also be an A500+ displaying some cool hardware upgrades made by Tomthul!

An A600 with an A608 and gubbins for gaming =)

I'm keen to come along, I don't know about staying overnight and doing both days though. If I was just to make one day, what would be best? I don't want to miss something big

@Zetr0, there space on your table for my little A630?

Steve, we can make that happen if you want my friend =)

We will have An

A1200 + LCD monitior
A4000 + 17" LCD monitor
A500+ + 15" LCD monitor
A600 + VDU (not sure if that will be shared with the 15" of the A500+)

I am sure we could fit your A600 on the table to my friend (*really excited!!*)

infact we could have it running and have the other A600 opened up - I am tempted to have the A500 open and running so people can see the insides as it runs, but that will be up to Mickey C and Health and safety.

I am really looking forward to finally meeting lots of peoples =)

Great Zetr0, I'll clear it with the Wife, I'd love to do both days but not sure she's be keen on that, I saw your other post about the Hotel but don't have anyone to share with.

I'd be happy to showcase my work, I can open the A600 so that the Apollo and Mika's CF angle adapter can be seen in 'real life' for whose who haven't yet... My portable LCD TV is pretty useful (displays flicker free interlaced screens) so perhaps worth also bringing along.

After speaking to Mrs Fitz I'll sling you a PM.

Oh by the way if its just one day, whats better Saturday or Sunday?

Steve.

I'll definitely be there if thetrainline.com starts working again.
Just thinking if I've got anything that I could bring for display purposes. I've got a Cyberstorm PPC/060 (used for many a piece of music for Playstation games) if that's of any interest. I can't bring the A4000T because it's massive and its harddrive died (and I haven't used it since; I really miss Bars&Pipes).
Is there any interest in some of my other bits? OneStopMusicShop card, GG2+ board, Hydravision ethernet. Can't think what else is lurking in there.
Just let me know if there's interest in me bringing anything portable down.
Cheers.

Hope everyone is enjoying themselves there.

In future can we please have just the one thread per event (I've just merged both on the subject) as there is not really any need to have multiple threads discussing the exact same thing, thanks!
