just one little question...

hello...

I have a question that has probably been asked multiple times so far [please don't punish my whole country for that, they're not guilty of me ]..

is there a tiny, minute possibility that [Win]UAE would ever support just one CPU with MMU..? I know it would terribly slow down emulation but.. at the moment the only ways for me to get rid of some of bugs I make from time to time are either tons of code that help me to track any possible mistakes I could make or.. travel home or to my betatesters as I don't have my miggy here where I study [not to mention that working on plain miggy with 040/40 is more than pain in the.. when it comes to compile stuff with GnuC++ ]..

Hope You don't mind my asking at all, do You?

Cheers!

68040 with MMU will be implemented someday (but notice that JIT can't be used with MMU == slower than slow..)

I wrote 68040 MMU emulation code about 1.5 years or so ago just for fun but then I lost interest for some reason..

btw, try winuaeenforcer in Amiga Programs-directory (I have never used it but I have heard it is useful)

Hello

There could be a small problem:

I receive TONS of WinUAEEnforcer hits caused by input.device and something else [anyways, both are system native devices], even if I boot without startup sequence... This is something I can't handle.. and for speed... I really doubt if it'd be slower than my 040/40 with 32MB simm

eventually I will buy a faster PC

besides, any chance You could help me with those enforcer hits? perhaps this would solve most of my problems

Many thanks in advance!
