Using A4000T with a 100HZ TV?
I need an urgent reply to this question.
I have a SONY KV-29LS30E which I connected (via SCART) to my Amiga4000T but it fell to the ground and now the picture is very blurry. The picture quality was actually perfect. I have found a similar TV "SONY KV-29LS60". The only difference is that it's 100hz and it's got a subwoofer and a flat screen. The seller is selling it for $150. Would there be any problems using it with my Amiga? Any jerky scrolling? Maybe it has a option to turn 100hz off? |

In practice will just double scan the 50hz to 100hz to have a steady picture. I used a 1999 32" Sony 16:9 TV that was 100hz and had no problems with PS1, PS2 and PS3 games on that for 10 years. Smooth scrolling. Never hooked up a Amiga tough i always used monitors. But a 15khz 50hz signal would be the same as from a PSX.

I've got a Panasonic 100Hz TV and it gives a perfect stable picture with PAL:Hires Interlaced (640x512) without any flicker.

I remembered now that I played also with a CD32 Pinball Fantasies on the TV on SVIDEO in, it gave smooth scrolling. So I think case closed you can but your TV without problems.
