iGame - Help please

Hello Amigans,

I've scoured all of the forums, even watched a youtube video, but I still cannot get iGame to load on my Amiga 1200 (ACA1221 - 68020 / 33MB fast ram / KS and WB 3.1).

It's telling me files are missing needed to run; "Can't create App, Make sure all the required MUI mccs are present. please check the included guide".

So far I've copied render.library and guigfx.library from aminet to both Libs: AND Mui:Libs

I've also copied Texteditor.mcc, texteditor.mcp, and Guigfx.mcc to MUI:Libs AND MUI:Libs/mui

MUI is installed (tested an app for it).

What else am I missing?

Thanks
John

Very cool utility - thank you!

Looks like there are two dependencies not mentioned in the help file for iGame or on Aminet:

screennotify.library
cybergraphics.library

I also see it's looking for a mui.key. Do I have to register MUI for iGame to work? "it looks like 12 places for mui.key)

OK i've copied those libraries.. and also put render.library in LIBS:libs and not just LIBS: (it quiets down the # of errors in SnoopDos).. but the three remaining errors are:

ToolType - SCREENSHOT
ToolType - NOGUIGFX
ToolType - FILTERUSEENTER

How do I deal with these?

Does anyone have iGame working with a vanilla OS 3.1, + the 5 files (render.library, guigfx.library, Texteditor.mcc, Texteditor.mcp, and Guigfx.mcc) only working?

Would BetterWB help?

The errors in snoopdos or do you get actual errors when opening the apps. I think by default those 3 tool types are commented out and you deal with them if you want from settings. If you have all correct libs igame should start. Doesn’t it?

Don't know about vanilla 3.1 but it definitely runs on a vanilla 3.1.4 with best WB and mui and MCC mui installed

On OS 3.1 iGame works fine, here's what to install:

- MUI
- Copy TextEditor.mcc -> MUI:Libs
- Copy TextEditor.mcp -> MUI:Libs
- Toltype Icon - Enable NOGUIGFX

These are not necessary if you do not have a an FPU !!!

- Guigfx.mcc
- Guigfx.library
- Render.library
- Toltype Icon - Disable NOGUIGFX (disable also from igame.prefs)

Only iGame v1.6 works for me. The two newer ones don't work on my real Amiga or a different image on WinUAE 2020.

iGame 2.x: If you do not have Graphics Card and FPU

Toltype Icon - Disable NOGUIGFX (disable also from igame.prefs)

no_guigfx=1

Doesn't that option just remove the graphic on right hand side of that window?
