Basketball game: Tip Off
I'm looking for the game Tip Off, This basketball game is developed by Steve Screech (famous of the Kick Off series..) I just want to take a look at this game, because I'm a real fan of Kick Off....
I know the game can be found at the Dream Zone, but my passwords doesn't seem to work anymore... Can somebody send it to me? (Or upload it here..) Thanks in advance! |

I suppose that with Magic Johnson's Basketball you mean fast Break, since I have Magic Johnson's MVP Basketball, and it's just Omni Play Baskteball all over again :P
I used to like Double Dribble on teh C64, but I never got teh Amiga version to work on my A600 (unless I got a flawed image) TV Sports was anotehr disappointment, and fro that lot, Street Sports BAsketball was the one I enjoyed the most, however teh C64 version was a lot better IMO. |

Off topic (Like most of you)
Not exactly a "True" basketball game, I always thought, and still do, that Future Basketball is a good game.
Like speedball1/2 but using basket's instead of goals |

Basketball
Magic Johnson's Basketball doesn't look anything like Omni-Play Basketball...
I forgot about Double Dribble! I agree, Future Basketball is a good game. Last edited by CodyJarrett; 13 March 2007 at 09:32. |

Wanna hear something strange? (coming from me, thats almost an oxymoron).
On the SNES, the game Future Basketball was released as "Bill Lambier's Combat Basketball" by (will fill in later). It was arguably one of the worst (It was also the first sports game on the SNES in the U.S) games ever to hit the SNES. Yet the Amiga version is much better, in every respect. Definitely a game that lost something in the conversion. |

Well, I do have Magic Johnson Basketball (It's even in the list of games I MAY send you, Akira), and it's certainly sideway. It's very arcadey, you have 12 stages, and in each stage you need to make a certain number of points, and things are more or less like that: a 2 points basket is worthy 200 points, a 3 points basket is worthu 300 points, an alley-oop is worth 500 points, a block is worth 1000 points and so on.
Future Basketball indeed is great... (it's other one in the list of disks I may send to Akira..) |

Oh yeah, I nearly forgot..
@Mr. Dig IMO, Tip Off is CRAP. It looks like Kick Off, and it plays a bit like Kick Off too, and the Kick Off engine is completely out of place in a basketball game. Anyway, I am not a big fan of Kick off anyway, so maybe you may want to get a 2nd opinion |

Yeah it was annoying, I remember a bug where the computer would try to do a substitution, then when finished, it would do it again, and again, and again, ad infinitum. Stupid thing, that Tip-Off

I am resurrecting this really old topic to ask anyone: is there an English version of this game? All I managed to find is multilingual version with four languages, without English.

Of course there is an english version of it. You want an extended ADF of it (protection included ?).
