Strange behaviour loading disk images
Hello all.
I have the following bug/oddness to report: When loading the data disk of Cadaver, the game reports an error -- "data disk has an error" or something to that effect -- if I load said disk by DRAGGING it into the df0: slot in the QUICKSTART section. Now, this error does NOT happen if I: 1. load the data disk by using the "select disk image" browse button in the quickstart section; 2. load it by selecting it in the drop-down list in the quickstart section; 3. load it from the floppy drives section, be it by dragging, browse button or drop-down list. Yes, it sounds odd, but I'm sure. I've tested all possibilities thoroughly. This happens with both .adf and .ipf versions. Never noticed this with any other game's second disk. I'm using WinUAE 1.3.1; if this is taken care of already in 1.3.3, I'm very sorry :( P.S. -- Hey, Toni: thanks for keeping at it :) |

Could someone, please, reply to this thread? No need to comment on the subject; a simple hello will do. Just so that I don't feel so rejected. Thanks.

Confirmed and fixed, dragging disk to quickstart drive with disk in already drive caused instant disk swap (used obsolete and non-working disk change code accidentally) which can easily confuse some loaders..
