The bid system is so the people interested set the prices themselves.

Personally Majesta why dont you just put` Vampire accelerator` in the listing nothing more nothing less ..no mention of any trigger words like Amiga, then the vexatious complainant can go Whistle dixie

And to drive away those who buy their cards only to sell them again on Ebay.

Awesome
This vendetta that someone seems to have against Majsta is frustrating to say the least. It really is a shame that we will never find out who is doing it. Keep up the fight Majsta, love what you're doing for the Amiga. It may not seem like it now, but it will be more than worth it in the future.

This is the best news I have heard all week. I would hate to see the product go away anytime soon. Hopefully eventually an arrangement can be set up to make a company responsible for the manufacture, sales and support of the Vampire Accelerators freeing up Majsta for the parts of the project he enjoys the most.

I'm pretty sure I know who it is. But what good does that do?

I don't know why this requires a bid system unless it was desirable for advertising or to avoid being accused of price gouging. A "Buy Now" button at a lower price is a gain for the customer and loss for Ebay. Majsta originally wanted to provide early cards at a near break even price to help bring the Amiga back. I tried to tell him on the Apollo Forum back in the day to take a reasonable profit. He probably thought I was a greedy capitalist at the time but he has learned so much from being on the business side. He has a strong will and has persevered with handicaps where others with more skill and knowledge have failed. The world needs more moral capitalists.
I for one mentioned selling the boards on Ebay to stop people who bought one from then putting them on ebay to make an instant large profit. This was mainly for the 600 v2's but also good for stopping any pratts from buying to sell these boards for profit.

Basically if there is a constant supply of said boards then the price will stabilise and the buy to sell folk won't get what they expected. Genuine folk wouldn't sell these boards especially with the waiting time involved.

P.S.
why don't we all send a message to Ebay about this problem, I wouldn't know where to start but if someone comes up with a message and the ebay part to send it, I would be only too pleased to send it and hopefully a lot of others on here would do the same so Ebay may actually take notice.

Only if he knows the ebay ID of the person he suspects. Then it might be taken seriously by eBay otherwise it's a shot in the dark.

Of course it does good, disclose the information to majsta if you think is relevant.

Personally I'd name them here so everyone knows who the coward is.

It is never a good idea to name names in public if you're not 100% sure. Even if you are 100%, it is usually not a good idea anyway as it generally just ends up with people throwing fecal matter at each other in forums. Better to keep such talk internally and take the high road when trying to resolve such conflicts.
