TV Tuner on WinUAE
On my Amithlon system I use AmithlonTV to watch television using a ATI TV Tuner.
My question is this: Does WinUAE support doing this? I would like to ditch Amithlon because it is just too unstable, and switch to WinUAE. But I need to be able to watch TV :=) Anyone know? |

Theres no Reason you cant use WinUae as your main Shell - obviously WinUAe is very good.
And use WinLaunch to Launch Windows programs - Simple yes |

If your that passionate about it having to be amiga software to watch tv, then i surgest building a real amiga with tv card. Then you can actually browse the internet properly using the pc, and watch tv on the miggy

You can use this one: http://www.winuae.net/files/winuae_vidrec.lha It's a TV watcher and/or recorder; in practice it uses the video capture card/tv tuner that is installed under windows, from within Winuae. See docs inside the archive for more details on how to set it up. Hope this helps! |

@amiga
Thanks, I will give that a try. On a side note, have Amithlon working more stable now. I changed the graphics card back to a GeForce 3 instead of a GeForce 6200. Seems more stable. |

BTW, my amithlon is more stable now that I turned of TLSFMem. Weird because TLSFMem is generally stable on my "real" classic amigas and also with WinUAE. Winlaunch doesn't keep the window to front so it is not really useful. |
