CAPS featured in this month's Retro magazine
Okay, I'll reveal one of the surprises we have been sitting on for a while now...
We had some input into an article about Amiga game collecting in this months Retro, and it turned out very nicely! The magazine is yellow with some Retro computers/consoles on the front in a Retro-art kinda way. Same artist that did "the Retro house" I should imagine. HOL also got a mention. I really recommend you buy it! Read a bit more in our news: http://www.caps-project.org |

I couldn't find the issue in my small town, but I'll get it over the weekend in London.
Are HOL screenshots used in the article then? |

I got the issue today, although I had to go to Tower Records in Piccadilly Circus in London to find it.
Much of the article is Amiga history which has been told often before, but there are some quotes from the CAPS guys and nice HOL screens! |

Scanning?
Could someone scan the article and put it in the zone by any chance? Computer mags don't get to NZ for 2-3 months after they are out in Europe unless they are sent airmail and those ones are very expensive!

A magazine is never late Codey Baggins, nor is it early. It arrives precisely when it means to!

Bought the mag today, and it's a very interesting read altogether, not just the Amiga section! Very wonderful to see fiath and co. get the mainstream(?) recognition they probably deserve so much. Not to mention Cody becoming a STAR (faahboolos!) for his major contribution to HOL (thought I'd help increase your ego a bit there... ).
The Retro team also borrowed some info regarding the various Amigas off the Amiga History Guide site, fact fans. |

It's not a bad edition of the magazine, but at the end of the day the people who write it don't spend 23 hours a day stuck in the middle of the retro scene and it'll never quite satisfy our tastes...
...but fair play for getting the HOL and CAPS in there. Real good news for amiga emulation. Quote:
