Lionheart Monster explosions sound wrong
Monster explosions in Lionheart sound wrong on WHDLoad slave compared to original A500 game. The explosions are cut short, there should be more small “puff” sounds like on A500. It is very subtle but clearly audible in direct comparison with A500.
BTW, I looked on mantis and found hundreds of reported bugs with slaves and slaves are still being fixed all the time, even five, ten year old slaves. It is a little frustrating noting these small glitches and imperfections. I find myself going back to emulated A500 config a lot. It is not enough for a game to work. It has to run the same speed and with same sound as original and without glitches, too, in my opinion, otherwise it is a bit pointless. It seems there’s currently a kind of quantity over quality when it comes to WHDLoad. I am glad I can emulate an A500 by choice. |

Lionheart comes with its own hard drive installer. Try that instead of WHDload? It works fine on my A4000@040. No need for WHDload
