A lot of mods are techno mods, or hard rock, but a few are jazzy. I like 2 mods particularly if you don't know them:

- JustForBlues: excellent acoustic guitar
- Chicago (I think it's been remade from some in-movie music in Frantic). Very elaborate rythm & saxophone solo part
I do have the Chicago mod, not sure on the other I would have to look.
I just have a mixture of stuff, some are actual .mod format, some others are Impulse Tracker, Scream Tracker, 4 & 8 channel .med and so forth.
A lot of them are compilations taken off old Amiga CD's, plus some Amiga game and demo music, others include the KLF and SoundMod collections that I downloaded at some point in time.
Nothing like some relaxing Amiga sound files playing while you work!

I still have a copy of the Mods Anthology 4CD set somewhere. Some great tunes there, though it'll take many many hours to work through the whole lot. I didn't have a huge MOD collection during my original Amiga (and ST) years, so there are only a small number that properly stick in my mind from that era.

Guitar Slinger
Street Jungle
Space Debris
and the rather quirky Klisje Paa Klisje (or something like that). Quirky, because almost all .mod players would actually play the tune, but there was an odd control code in there part way through that caused it to slow right down.

Forgot about the Mods Anthology, I do have that too. I tend to download any collections I come across and just plop them into the Mods folder, that's why it's getting so large.
And on that note I misquoted, just checked and the folder has risen to 4.10GB. Take a lifetime to listen to every one!

I have been collecting tracked music since my days on the Amiga, still continue to collect both Amiga & PC stuff. Sadly, it currently stands at 60gb (115,000+)....

I'm still surprised that there continues to be tracker modules released keeping the scene alive and a few oldskoolers have recently returned still releasing modules...

Lets hope they do keep composing and releasing them. It's a unique sound to listen to.

Feekzoids "alienbreed3dse" and "in_the_pipe" are two of my favourites. Both contains samples from the Alien movie.

Send a message via ICQ to Snowwie
Technically spoken then "Guitar Slinger" from Jogier Liljehdahl is just a perfect song.

But, there are other good modules as well: (I even recorded them and put them on my YouTube channel
- Kefrens Desert Dream mod: [ Show youtube player ]
- Lotus Turbo Challenge II: [ Show youtube player ]
- Agony Intro: [ Show youtube player ]
- Pinball Dreams Intro: [ Show youtube player ]

Whahahah, most of them I uploaded like more than 8 years ago, Amiga never dies.

One of my favorites, so simple but still beautiful:

STRANGLEHOLD (C)JT

https://modarchive.org/index.php?req...id&query=46508

It was made by pure sine waves only. Jeroen Tel made it.
