A question about a heimdall demo..

is this demo version (on the amiga action cover) the one where , when u throw the axe and hit the girl her head explodes , unlike the finished game where she pulls her head out of the stocks just in time to avoid being hit?

if so does anyone have this demo version? (i lost my original)

I've wondered about that too, was there an uncencored version of the game?

Im not sure Stareye, the final released game was definetly censored on the axe scene, in the uk....(and planet blot strangely) but perhaps that was different overseas. there might even be a cheat available for the released version to restore the gore

but hmm some of these .adz disks dont seem to work for me on WINUAE (including the one with heimdall demo

) anyone know how i might be able to get em werking?some of them work fine tho. weird!

adz files are zipped adf files, so you could try and find a program that could extract it into a adf?

aa-20.adz? It "works" but it has no startup-sequence.
type "axe" to start the demo. There is also action replay freeze file that can be run with "aload siegemaster" but it seems to only crash and I really wasn't interested in testing it more..

What you suggested did indeed work for me, thanks.

Unfortunatly this demo is not the gory version i was looking for afterall!

So back to the drawing board...
