Amiga 3000 Super Kickstart disks

I'm looking for disks set for my first rev. Amiga 3000.
I want the Super Kickstart disks so I can boot and format the HD.

That A3000 also has a "1.4" kickstart in ROM, its a really early version of 2.0.
You can probably boot a Workbench 1.3 disk with it.
Just hold down both mouse buttons on powerup, when that boot screen comes up, there's an invisible close icon in the top right corner of the screen, click up there and you'll boot up in 1.4.
1.4 is kind of buggy, but may work if you're trying to transfer disks.

Your A3000 has Kickstart 1.4 ROMS. These ROMs load KS from either floppy or hard drive into RAM and then use MAPROM.

One alternative is to buy/make REAL Kickstart 3.1 ROMs for your A3000.

Another alternative is to get a PCI SCSI card for your desktop PC (if you have one) and prep your hard drive on the PC. You have to name your HDD partition correctly and put the Super Kickstart 3.1 ROM file on the HDD in the correct place and it will boot.

The advantage of a PCI SCSI card is you can also install Workbench and WHDload etc. plus lots of other things like games etc. without having to mess about transferring files via floppy drive. You can even test it out using WinUAE.

If you don't have a desktop PC then I guess you'll have to make/buy the SuperKickstart disks.

The down side is you cannot officially buy a SuperKickstart 3.1 floppy disk as they never made them. HOWEVER someone did put together a SuperKickstart 3.1 ROM together and you can find it on the internet.

If you can find someone near you with an Amiga you can make your own SuperKickstart 3.1 floppy disk using that ROM file and this tool :

You can snip the bonus off any superkick 2.x and concatenate it to the end of an A3000 3.1 kick file, then use that with makesuperdisk.

The bonus is everything that is above 512k in the superkick file, you can compare superkick and kick file sizes.
