How to get rid of the FreeWheel Window used for "Classic Boing Ball Mouse MX1000"?
I bought a "Classic Boing Ball Mouse MX1000" with a scroll wheel and I am using it on my Amiga 1200 using AmiKit Real. The mouse works fine, also the scroll wheel works great, only because the tool FreeWheel is launched in WBStartup, there is always the FreeWheel window on the screen after booting the machine.
Does anyone know a trick how to hide that window automatically? |

It sounds like the tooltype isn't set to hide it. It's a commodity that runs, like the screen blanker and so on. Open the icon information window, look in the Tooltypes section for "CX_POPUP=", which is the setting for opening the window. If it's set to anything other than "NO", or if it doesn't exist, the window will open every time it starts. It should look like:
CX_POPUP=NO Save that and reboot, you should be good. |

I added CX_POPUP=NO to the Tooltypes of the Icon in WBStartup, but unfortunately that did not help. The window still comes up.

Hmmm... Another possibility is that it's starting twice. Is there another entry for that driver in the startup-sequence or user-startup maybe? There should be something in the documentation about it.

That´s what I also thought, but didn´t find it there and also found no clue in the documentation so far.
