Dumping Mods To Wav Files

This was discussed before, but I can't remember the utility which can do it.

Which mod player can dump to wav files?

You can use Deliplayer and dump to WAV those strange exotic format tunes...

www.deliplayer.com

You could also get the Oldsk00l plugin for Winamp. It supports quite a few exotic formats.

You can download delitracker 2.32 from aminet ( freeware ) & use the deli14bitgenie that is included to save high quality aif or Motorola raw files ( you can also choose some option to enhance the quality ) and add dsp effects ( read the guide ).
If you are using it under Winuae ( i think also under Uae ) remember to toggle the jit cache, else delitracker will not run properly ( time problems ).

Problem with Deliplayer is that being shareware you can't dump unless you've registered.

WinAMP supports every MOD format I've thrown at it so far, and can easily dump a MOD into WAV. Shouldn't need anything extra.

Not anymore. Deliplayer now went freeware! So you can record all thsoe strange format MODs to WAV. No need to use Winamp (the oldskool plugin's quality is pants)

AFAIK you must register Deliplayer if you want to record files

If you have a SB Live soundcard you can use Goldwave or your fave sound editor and select as the recording source "What U Hear", play the mod with DeliPlayer and start the recording.

Have you checked the site? I checked it before posting... When it was shareware, everything worked but the filewriter. Now that it's freeware, everything works.

[edit] Sneaky bastards... Why do they include the stream recorder in the freeware program's features?? I read the registration page and it seems you really have to register for it to record. I thought that went freeware too!

grrrrr.. Anyway, no need to have a Live methinks, any full-duplex card should allow you to record the wave stream to disk. As long as you dont use DirectX playback, you can record whatever that is going through the Wave Mapper. I've done this many times with trial versions of audio programs

Old thread, but i did it the few last days

IMHO the best way is to use an Amiga player under emulation and the WAV recording possibility of WinUAE

Resulting WAV has excellent quality indeed

If you don't want to waste time playing the whole mod, you can do a recording on the fly here

https://www.exotica.org.uk/mediawiki...for=&col=&ins=

Just select "show ogg/mp3 recording links" button

I strongly guess recording is done with UADE

Glad to help Cody

If i can suggest a way, anyway, use Eagle Player under emulation with WinUAE WAV recording

Quality is impressive, no other ways reach it !
