Not quite. Development started on the CDTV, but it was released for CDTV/CD32 once the CD32 was released as the CDTV market had been dead for some time before that. Curiously, the game was re-released on CD in the late 90s for Amigas equipped with CDROM drives, but it won't boot on CDTV/CD32. This CD version is available on Aminet:

I've already been hassling Duke about this. He promised that he would create the screenshots if I use a real IRC client for a week

The Case of the Cautious Condor CDTV talkie is actually quite nice to showof the abilities of the CDTV featuring ingame speech, not to mention one good overall game.

Mmmh, maybe it was announced to be released here in germany. Seems to be the same mystery as for Secret of Monkey Island CDTV.
