Putting a laptop into an Amiga?

I know this has been mentioned and done before so I do apologise.

But i'd like to buy an old Amiga A500/A1200 case and put in PC components

I was thinking of either putting in an ITX mobo and a riser for the RAM

or

a better option being to dismantle my old laptop and put my laptops components inside the Amiga case.

Put simple a mediocre PC in an Amiga case for emulating Amiga games and can use internet etc

How hard would this be to do and what considerations shall I keep in mind?

For me it's waste of case. Please, leave it as it is.

To be honest, I agree with S2325 - it's a waste of a good case. However, I can sort of see where you're going with this......

Post any pictures of the build and the results to this forum so we can all stare at it and wonder why the hell anyone would want to take something as beautiful as an Amiga and violate it in such a way!

Joking apart, I've seen it done before and it's not that impressive. Now, if you were to install an A600 into an old laptop case, then you'd be a total GOD!!!

I might be able to supply you with an A500 or A1200 case to play with
