FPS adjustment in FS-UAE?

I've read through the docs (as much as I could) and the gui options, but I can't find a setting for fps. I mean, like winuae has that fps adjustment slider in the display options section. Is there one or a command to add? Thx!

FS-UAE uses always screen resolution and FPS set by operating system. So if you change your OS screenmode to 50hz, that should do it.

I think this guide helps: http://fs-uae.net/perfectly-smooth-scrolling

Here's the thing, I actually want to force all games at 60 fps. This way, I get it better synched with my display (60hz) and I can play games which don't support NTSC properly at that frame rate, which is preferable to me, I really like the extra speed. Is there a thread where I could make such a feature requested? Thx!

Just to make sure I understand what you want: You want to increase the number of emulated/rendered frames per second (PAL) from 50 to 60, with the following consequences:
- The game will run 20% faster
- Audio/music will be displayed at a higher pitch (and also play 20% faster).

Yes, exactly! Just like running a game in NTSC would be.

It's not something high on the list of priorities, but I've added it here as a wishlist issue: https://github.com/FrodeSolheim/fs-uae/issues/105.

Hello vulture!

This is already possible with FS-UAE, just use following config entry in .fs-uae files:
uae_displaydata = <fps>

e.g.:
uae_displaydata = 37.5 to use 37.5fps instead of standard PAL/NTSC.

I can confirm this works.

On my Mac I can't get anything but 60hz so smooth scrolling doesn't seem possible.

But if I set uae_displaydata to 60 my programs are silky smooth. Too fast, but silky smooth :-).
