Flicker-reducing software
In the late 1990s, I came across a tool processing Hi-Res Laced-resolution pictures for the purpose of reducing flicker when shown on interlaced screens.
Assumedly, it had an algorithm bluring out sharp horizontal lines. The results were, from what I can recall, very impressive. It made a huge difference in creating a more pleasant and professional look, suitable for public Scala-presentations. They had a website promoting it. And the persuasive selling language was almost as fascinating as the tool itself.. However, I only got as long as trying out the demo version. And by the time I was sold, the website was gone. Does anyone have a clue of the name of the software and its availability? It had a Hungarian developer, I believe. |

Yes, that is it! Thanks.
Finding a way to obtain the full version seems tricky though.. Apparently, the old website went down around 2005: https://web.archive.org/web/20050217...deflicker.html |

There is an Email Address from the developer. Maybe you have luck and can contact him through it.
