'Brand New' A500/A600 keyboard membranes
Can't find this reported here on a search so in case people need one, NEW MEMBRANES are available....
http://www.sellmyretro.com/search/na...oard+membranes I ordered one of each, blue and green, for the A600 and installed the blue one yesterday. Worked a treat! Tested all keys using good old Pen Pal and everything is ok. The green membrane appears a little thinner in the ribbon end than the blue one, consequently some keys didn't work, which I suspect is a problem with the molex connector on my current motherboard. Another (original) green membrane keyboard has the same issue, so I'll try the new green membrane on another motherboard when I get a chance. Can certainly recommend the blue replacement membrane, fits perfectly and worked first go. Its been so frustrating trying to keep using the 600 due to this fault, major happiness now! Have promised to the Gods of Amigadom to never unplug it again. By the way, delivery was very prompt (England to Australia shipping) and packed safely between cardboard. |

I can confirm these are brand new, production/factory quality membranes!
I bought two: A500/+ A600 The only niggle is the way he sends them out, but there is not alot you can do when packing these things. The nature of them dictates they have to be sent in something flat. Dam postey tried to force the a600 one into the letter box () |

I very much doubt it would be a financially viable project to take on, but it would be great if we could get complete reproduction keyboards.

£25 + £4.95 postage. Thats £30 each shipped. Obviously, if a big quantity was ordered, maybe that would bring the price down. Most people would expect to pay around £5 to £10 + Shipping tops. |

Well, it's not like there is an endless supply of keyboard membranes, or keyboards for that matter. So Rich doing a new production run of membranes is certainly a good thing. I hope he'll do an A1200 variant also.
Sure it looks a bit pricey now, but what happens when we're out of NOS stuff. Even £50 will start to look good then |
