Press F12, "eject" the current ADF and "insert" the one you the game tells you to. Or use multiple disk drives, providing the game supports them.

EDIT: Wrong sub-forum methinks

Exactly as Graham says, although any game loaded through GameBase Amiga will use as many disk drives as the game supports.

Ok, but when i run the "Gobliiins" Through Amiga GameBase, although the game is on 3 media (Disk1, Disk2, Disk3), it is enabled only one Disk Drivers, so I have to Change Disk manually.

Then unfortunately that means that the game only supports 1 drive

...otherwise Belgarath would have enabled the other drives for use in the "Gobliiins" GameBase config

Gobliiins and many other multidisk games only support 1 drive, I can't magically make them support extra drives.

If you don't like diskswapping then use the WHDLoad versions.

Ok ... now understand, but I have one last question:
Is it possible to increase the speed of loading drivers ?

Use the winuae turbo function (end+pause/break on your keyboard).

Pressing the <End> key + the <Pause/Break> key when a game starts loading from .ADF will enable the turbo loading function

hey damien

oh is there no preset save turbo feature that you can effectivly fast forward all disk loading activity as seen in the atari st emulator steem? and enable!
basically all loading time and floppy access are turbo'ed
result fast booting of disk images..as seen in steem engine on the st

we dont all use whdload packs yet...or even want to

no theres no automatic fastforward, personally i map end+break to a joystick button so it's easy to use.

cheers belgareth

i guess due to slack* development of winuae we'll have to put a bit of tape on the joystick button

*also applies to winuaeX

i may have to download the xdk xbox dev kit and sort it myself,
its that bad and needs to be made good

kind regards

It's a toggle, you don't have to hold it down

Why not use the fast forward button in winuaex? That's what it's there for

I personally use whdload installed hdfs in winuaex, adfs are the devils work.

hey bbcmicroman donkeykongman

i have a large collection of *amiga disk format* (adf) did anyone else ever know that name for adf? erm?, but lets get back ontrack allthough i would like to use the gorillas whd packs for use off a cdrom dvd rom or flashdrive or even a hdd or a os installed on winuaux or on my a12oo.

it is one hell of a mither to download and transfer all your packs to a storage device and do they contain the trainers or scene intros as i love them cracktros!, or have you removed them?,put simply

i would have to mod my12oo, have a12oo set up as well as a peecee and xbox.

i will struggle with winuaeX and besides that i have some damn rare games as adf and my original collection of litrally hundreds and hundreds of floppys with rare non tosec stuff onthem.so when amiga kit give me a free converter to transfer them, they get transfered,if not they dont and we never see rare stuff that i have.. hehe or i could try the dual drive pc thing.. one day maybe!

kind regards

Wasn't there a shortcut for floppy-swapping i WinUAE??

All you have to do is place disks in flopppy-swapping, and then use End+1-0 for first 10 and End+Shift+1-5 for 11-15.
