Question Controller not recognized & reassignment of keyboard keys

Good morning all !

I use FS-UAE from the command line with Attract Mode (no launcher) & I have two questions:

1. My Ipega 9077 controller is not recognized, how do I add it in command line mode (no launcher) ?

2. Can do we reassign the keyboard keys always in command line mode (no launcher) ? With a configuration file when launching the emulator perhaps ?

Example: for shooting the left Ctrl key does not work but the right Ctrl key yes why ? How to reassign it ?

Thanks best regards !

The right ctrl is used for emulating joystick fire for default, because this key does not exist on the Amiga keyboard. Left ctrl is used for emulating the Amiga ctrl key.

But yes, there is an option you put put in a configuration file:
swap_ctrl_keys = 1
(or via command line:
--swap-ctrl-keys=1
)

Forgot the Ipega 9077 controller question:

What operating system are you on? Can you confirm that your operating system and other relevant software running on your computer sees the controller as a gamepad device?

Hello !

Thank you for your quick response the command line works fine.

Code:
--swap-ctrl-keys=1
My Ipega 9077 controller (PS3 / PC Gamepad) is recognized in FS-UAE but only with the launcher not on the command line.

If I remove the configuration file created in C:\Users\Sebiohazard\Documents\FS-UAE\Controllers it no longer works... I would like to launch this configuration file on the command line but in another folder example: E:\Attract\Emulators\FS-UAE\Windows\x86-64 is this possible ?

Greetings !

It depends how you've set up FS-UAE. But FS-UAE will aways have a "base" directory. For example C:\Users\Sebiohazard\Documents\FS-UAE. Then FS-UAE will find the controller config in C:\Users\Sebiohazard\Documents\FS-UAE\Controllers also when started from the command line.

If E:\Attract\Emulators\FS-UAE is set up to be a portable install, then you must put the controller config file in E:\Attract\Emulators\FS-UAE\Controllers instead...

Hello thank you for your reply.

I placed the two controller configuration files in:

1. C:\Attract\emulators\fs-uae\Windows\x86-64

2. C:\Attract\emulators\fs-uae\Controllers

But it doesn't work... it only works if the files are in: C:\Users\Sebiohazard\Documents\FS-UAE\Controllers

The problem is that I want a portable version of FS-UAE I don't want dependency on C:\Users\Sebiohazard\Documents\FS-UAE how to proceed ?

There must be a command line to load the controller configuration file, right ? There are two configuration files which is the correct one ?

1. ps3_pc_gamepad_13_4_1_0_windows.conf

2. 03000000632500007505000000000000.fs-uae-controller

Greetings !

Does C:\Attract\emulators\fs-uae\Portable.ini exist? If not, create an empty C:\Attract\emulators\fs-uae\Portable.ini.
