When I'm trying to run the program, it just says "cannot create MUI application". I have all the MUI classes listed in the requirements installed. Any idea what could cause this error?

Perhaps some assign is not set (MUI: or something), or you are simply running out of memory.

I can't think of any other reasons.

MUI: is correctly assigned and all other MUI apps run fine - that's the strange thing about it! I've set my display to two colours to get as much free memory as possible (1,877,784 bytes Chip, more than 30 MB Fast) and it still produce the same error

What does this Jabberwocky app do?
Does it gyre and gimble your slithy Amiga in the wabe?

Make sure icon stack size is 32768 (lower could cause problems) and that you use latest version of needed MUI libs.

Checked the stack size, it was 32000. Increased it, but still the same problem. The MUI libraries are all the latest, I've upgraded them only a week ago.

Always try SnoopDOS in cases like that (can be found on Aminet). The log produced by SnoopDOS will tell you if Jabberwocky (or MUI) is missing any files.

The mentioned error message can appear for a myriad of reasons. You don't seem to have memory problems, perhaps there are not enough free pens on your WB? If that's the case Jabberwocky will try to open its own screen. If you don't have any screen modes defined, it will fail to do so.

Check MUI:PSI (or the main MUI prefs program) and define some screenmodes.

After that, there are several more processes trying to load several MUI classes which all fail (even though the classes are there), so I guess the problem is in the first error. The file jabberwocky.xml is indeed not there...
