How about a Kickstarter to open source AmigaOS classic?
Or something equivalent? This may not be possible according to their terms of service and the kind of projects they want, but why couldn't we do a community drive to get the whole thing legally open-sourced?

First problem would be to find out who holds the copyright for AmigaOS...
