Unhappy 17 Bit level 6 CD corrupt

Heyelp!!! Does anybody have access to the 17Bit Level 6 CD ROM? My whole (original) Cd is now full of errors due to scratches that go right through to the silver coating - Does anybody have an ISO File of this ROM I can download?

Whilst I'm at it, the following CUCD's (In Nero .nrg format) are available to upload to somebody's FTP - just PM me with with an addy - thanks.

CUCD 05, 09, 12,13,18 & 27

Cheers guys, appreciated.

Do you have an FTP site so I can download an image from it? I won't just leech, I'll upload something in return, just let me know what you want and I'll see what I have here.

Cheers Blackadda, I got it from Mr Boss some time ago. Back to the roots is an excellent site but the 17 bit CD images they offer aren't proper images, just all the .dms files from the disk. You don't get a backup of the CD itself (which is what I wanted) but a longggg list of DMS files - without all the extra files, like the menu etc.

Cheers anyway...... and of course, many thanks to The Boss who helped me out with his FTP when nobody else could,

Happy

oh i see... i wondered how I'd ever find out what was on those damn disks without trying them all lol... though I didn dl a textfile at some stage...

Any chance you could zip up the directories of some of these cd's for me (minus the dms files which I already have) so I could recreate some of these Isos? (PM me)

You should try downloading the fish stuff from b2r it's even worse as it's all these tiny files... i think my ftp has timed out hundreds of times trying to complete those!

My FTP client didn't time out, but took an age to sort out all th filenames. I think that my FTP client makes a list of what to get and then goes to get it - that is the only reason why, 4 hours later, Core FTP hadn't even started to download anything. Took all night to get all the files too! I have a 2mb broadband connection, so when it started, it went okay.

Not a problem sorting out a directory list etc - I have all these 17 bit collection disks except the third. I never owned it so it didn't feel right nicking it from BTTR. Which ones would you like?

Level 6 isn't set out like the other disks, if you want that one, you'll have to contact me so we can work out how to get a copy to you. The other disks, without all the dms files WinRared to less than 2mb, so I'll put them on the Zone for you. BAscally, the archive is a self executing file - you'll get four folders, 17bita, 17bitb, 17bitD and 17bit 5. Make a directory in each folder called "files" and copy all your DMS archives to the relevant "files" directory. That is, copy all dms files for disk a into a directory "files", in the 17bita folder. Do the same for the other three 17bit folders.

Burn each folder (the 17bita etc) to a CD and there ya go! I'll post anything else I may think of in the meantime here.......
