He, I also had the PC version for Utopia at one point in time (paid like 5 euros for it, only back then I paid with guilders :s ). But then I discovered Winuae and I just chucked it in the trash right away along with a whole bunch of other PC piece of shit versions of Amiga games. Utopia wasn't half bad though, it's a more or less direct port only without the disk swapping.

The Koshan Conspiracy from 1992, known as B.A.T. II on the Amiga and Zool 2 PC from 1994
Cant comment on B.A.T. II as I havent played the Amiga version and pc have yet to run it but Zool 2 lacks the CD soundtrack of the CD32, the music is fine nonetheless, what bothers me is that you cannot use sound and music at the sametime, exactly the same as on the Amiga, lol Amiga version: - PC version: gimbal: Yeah the game is basically the same, except for the music which I have set to Adlib as its the one that comes closest to the Amiga. Im just disappointed that Gremlin did not include the DataDisk or alternativly make a cool cd soundtrack keropi: Excellet catch, especially the Turrican 2 boxed looks very niceeee*drools* oops sry hope the box didnt get wet Last edited by TheBoss; 01 November 2006 at 14:32. |

Good old Silmarils released these 2 Adventure/RPG games, Ishar 2 in 1993 and Ishar 3 in 1994 on both Amiga, PC and Atari ST. I managed to get a hold of both Ishar 2 and 3 PC CD-ROM releases
Ishar 2 Click for large screen Ishar 3 Click for large screen In Ishar 2 you have to explore the magic land (dungeons, tree-cities, mountain paths with real graded height effect), fight the enemies, join the allies and relax in towns, which even have medieval nightclubs In Ishar 3 you travel through Portals of Time in pursuit of the dragon of Sith, last survivor of the Great Black Dragons. Exploring the magic lands, joining the allies and fighting the enemies you must protect the Citadel. |

I recently tried playing both dunecd and dune2cd, and the midi music is just awful, let alone unrecognisable in comparison to the great tunes in the amiga versions. Actually got back into both games and am seeking out the newer Emperor: battle for dune game . |

Another Adventure/RPG game, Spirit of Excalibur PC from 1990 in mint condition.
A spiritual descendant of War in Middle Earth, Spirit of Excalibur uses the same engine to tell the tale of what befell Camelot after the death of King Arthur. This CD edition was made in 1991 and lets you choose from standard musics to using the enhanced CD audio and digital voices, very cool and good usage of the cd Zetr0: nice cat Now to get a hold of Ishar 1 to complete the trilogy Keropi: sry to hear maybe Spirit of Excalibur is a bit better? |

Good to see the game arrived keropi
Heirs To The Throne (Erben des Throns) from 1992 PC version Click for big picture This CD Edition is from 1993 and is basically the same as the disk version I believe. The game includes a series of gameplay options to modify and create your own game modes. You can select the size of the kingdom, the amount of territory to be explored, the chances of random events, and there's even an option that makes the game a race against the clock as you try to get the kingdom before the rightful heir returns. Includes hot-seat multiplayer support for up to 4 players. It was also released on the Amiga in 1992 but it seems the english version is MIA but the german version is common. |

That's pretty much all I'd say. It's probably cheaper to buy it second hand (as opposed to building it from second hand bits). |

don't get an awe 32, get a sb16 NON PnP and plug on the waveblaster connector a yamaha or roland or korg midi daughterboard. then get a roland mpu interface and connect there a roland CM32-L or get a LAPC-I ... that way you have great music, sfx and 99% coverage of all dos games.... the cm32l/lapc-i part is crucial, as old games supported the roland format, and a general midi card on these sounds wrong and awfull.
