Scaling differences between DirectDraw and Direct3D

Hi Toni

I run WinUAE in a window and then use Automatic Scaling in the Filter tab so it fills up the window.

I usually use the Direct Draw graphics API and everything appears fine. When I change to Direct 3D I've noticed the scaling looks a little "rough", especially text.

I've attached two screenshots and my config.

I'm running XP+SP3.

Many thanks.

DirectDraw scaling blurs the display when scaling (and it can't be switched off which is annoying).

D3D mode has optional bilinear filter on/off option in filter panel.
