How do I get past the block zero SD card issue?

I have tried three different card readers, on different windows machines...

I just want to setup a hard drive to the SD card...

I removed the drive letter, so the card should be unmounted, I’m starting as administrator... I don’t know what else to do...

I’ve tried 32bit and 64 bit Wingate versi9ns on both type windows machines...

All the youtubers setting up the cards skip over this error...

Any help sorely needed... thanks!

Try ticking "Lock" checkbox in Harddrive panel. If it won't help, diskpart clean command usually fixes it. (Search other threads for details)

I had this problem a bit ago also. Diskpart prompt that is DID work when it didn't. Be very careful with it, you can "clean" the wrong drive. If you can get access to Mac OS or a Hackint0sh then you could use that. If you have real Amiga hardware, start it that way..that's what I've done a few times. The move over to WinUAE. Paragon Hard Disk Manager 12 Suite is also good to bypass and wipe. I won't assign emotions to Windows so I won't call it finicky but it sure doesn't allow wiping sometimes without 3rd party intervention. I'm still using Windows 7, and don't enjoy 10 at all. So far, my Paragon software has proven helpful still..but not always.
