Amiga 1200 sound issue
Has anyone ever seen this?
When I plug the sound RCA cable connectors into the amiga I get no sound at all. If I pull the connectors out until they are barely contacting the female inputs (they will slip off when I tilt the amiga or move it in any way) I hear the sound output fine. Makes it a bit fiddly to play games with the amiga on my lap. |

The A1200 has switches inside the RCA sockets that switch to mono unless both sides are plugged in. Perhaps there is a short somewhere in this circuit. What happens if you only plug in one side or the other (with either channel)?
Exactly which RCA plugs and cable are you using? |

I have several RCA cables and I tried all of them with the same result so I figure it's not the cables.
If I plug one jack in fully and the other partially I get mono, if I have both jacks partially inserted I get stereo. |
