Hi folks been a while since i report in.

"Saudações de Viseu"

My Amiga setup is mostly inside a box mummified with a plastic so it wont go yellow, i love that pristine look like it was bought yesterday.
Only comes out of hibernation once or twice a year, this week is being used by my 5 year old daughter, still not easy to convince her to play games with a mouse, since she´s only used to scrub her fingers across the tablet screen.

Anyway i have a A1200 (in mint condition)

Blizzard 1230 with 32 mbytes RAM
Indivision AGA 1200
40Gbytes Hard Drive
512 Mbytes Slot Card to transfer data to PC.
17 Inch Flat Screen (with speakers)

Plus 1 Maverick Joystick and 2 other gamepads i modified to work with amiga.

that project died unfortunelly one year ago, by personal choice of its owner, thats why retromania.pt was born, to in some way fulfill that void left behind.
Most of amiga portugal ex-members can be found on retromania nowadays, hope you join us, c u there

You all should check it out, it's not just a fórum, is a Portal that keeps you updated of what's going on on in the retro world.

Hello, guys! I don't know if you noticed but I created a protuguese-speaking group, right here at EAB. My goal is to establish a conversation with all of us, portuguese users, in order to exchange knowledge and ideas regarding both software and hardware. I'm thinking about buying new stuff (an A1200, for starters) and I believe in first hand, face-to-face bargaining before attempting eBay. If any of you are interested in joining, please do. It's free!

Just subscribed it.
Let me remember that many of us, Portuguese Amiga fans, are meeting in retromania.pt forum.
Cheers.

I know. I've been visiting retromania.pt regularly as well. It's a nice place to get the latest news on all things retro. But with the emphasis on every retro gaming machine (but with a clear predominance of the Spectrum and the C64), it's not "Amiga enough"... if you know what I mean.

I know what you mean. I guess we're just not enough to have a dedicated group.
Anyway, if this group helps getting the community together, why not?
