whdload installer for cannon fodder!
I downloaded the lha. Put the cannon fodder disk in my floppy drive. Booted the amiga up (all under winuae). I unlha'd the cannon fodder installer. (the cf disks are reporting either DF0:NDOS or DF0:????). The installer starts and copies some files from the package BUT IT DOESNT COPY ANY CF FILES!!!. Then I run the cannon fodder launcher but it says it cant find the files. I tried another launcher from Atomic Cabbage but lha reports that the file is corrupted.

Many WHDLoad installs are designed to work with original disks, not cracked copies. Maybe that could be the problem.
