sorry to go off-topic but....

Is your nick cuz you are a fan of the Monarchy or the super-duper wonder-group

(Reason I ask is cuz I am a HUGE Queen fan )

For Emulator goto www.winuae.net

As for setting it up.. you'll need a Kickstart romfile (These cannot be requested here, so don't even bother!)

You'll also need a basic Amiga understanding as regards the differing systems etc..

Anyway get WinUAE and have a play, any probs firstly do a search of the forum (as its more-than likely been encountered b4). If you get no joy then post

There are loads of peeps willing to help on here

NO NO NO – Maccy D's and BBinge are OUT - KFC is the fast food of choice: 50% fat, 50% protein for that well balanced meal. Plus you can wear the family sized bucket on your head as a victory crown after finishing this fine feast.

Queenster:

I remember the good old screen gems pack, probably UK only.

Came with an A500 Plus I seem to remember......as well as Captain Planet, Lemmings and Bart Simpson in little boxes. Any other pack details queenfan?

As Akira would say, not your "typical A500 users" choice......

Only joking Akira, a little dig from the other thread.

And you've missed editing the sig.........are you losing your touch??

Ok, an Amiga EMU newbie. Normally I wouldn't link as a search is all that is needed, HOWEVER, IT'S CHRISTMAS:

Emulator (EDIT: Same as bippy's link)

ROMS for EMU (Amiga Foreever link)

Beginners Guide

FAQ

A bit of Jambo and Green Amiga Alien Paul

AND FINALLY, THIS BOARDS FAQ Read it first or Akira gets very angry. In fact we all do because we don't like repeating ourselves 1000's of times.

Anyway..........

WELCOME TO EAB QUEENSFAN!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Bloodwych
I think you mistaking the ScreenGems pack for another pack.
The ScreenGems pack came with, Night Breed, Back to the Future 2, Days of Thunder and Shadow of the Beast 2. A pretty lame bundle apart from Beast 2 and it came with a standard A500.

Wow dast, I don't remember that packaging, must have been lame.

I think that pack came with the first A500's to have green/orange lights rather than red/green. Or perhaps not. I'm totally lost. :hoo

Batman pack will always be the best of course.

Which was the one I'm yapping on about then?

Loosing your touch yourself, eh?

Queenfan, do not write the signatures directly, use your userCP to configure it. Thanks to bloodwych for pointing it out ;P

I'm losing the sacred Amiga sight Akira; my preaching powers are a little tainted this day.

Time for an Amiga sabbatical me thinks before I dig myself into a bigger hole.

I agree about the Batman pack being the best. Its the one I was lucky enough to buy and had some great games with it.

The pack you were talking about was the Cartoon Classics pack.

Thanks woodshed, I feel better now. Once again your bizarre words of wisdom bring meaning to another thread. I'll have to get the other bloodwych member to drop into junk talk soon.

Yep Dast, that's the one. Thanks for putting my mind at rest.
