There is the Wico joystick. Excellent. 26 years I have it and still works perfect (bought another one for 10 euros on ebay, only 1 handle out of 3 but still very good).
features: - 3 different handles: "joystick handle", "ball handle", and "bat handle" (the one in the picture) is the best IMHO. - Atari VCS2600 style joystick. - 2 buttons, linkable to a single one (for atari for instance) or separate (there's a "gate" switch in the black part) Last edited by jotd; 18 March 2017 at 09:57. |

is it possible to make an elite multi-function 2002 joystick two seperate buttons?
per default both buttons act as one button, so i want to change it that way, that one buttons acts as a second button. the same i want to do with competition pro joysticks. talking about usb joystick adapters, i use this since about five years now: http://www.sinchai.de/index.php?main...roducts_id=137 you only get components, it's an assembly kit, has to be build by yourself. but it's definitely worth it. before that i used the already mentioned adapter from retrodesign. but this has a very poor durability. it was usable for a few months. then some day it stopped working. probably cable break i assume. |

Actually on photo are Boomerang 103 (B103) joypads. Boomerang 432 (B432) looks like this:
About B432 is thread here. |

I have a question regarding using Quickshot joysticks as 2-button.
I have a bunch of Quickshot Python and Maverick 1 sticks and they are all switchable between 'Amiga' and 'Sega' modes. 'Amiga' mode all buttons function as 1, as you would expect. I had assumed that in 'Sega' mode they would function as 2-button but for every game I have tried with a 2-button mode, only button 1 works, and button 2 seems to get triggered on release of button one or something funky. So, am I doing something wrong? Or do 2-button Sega controllers simply not work as 2-button controllers on the Amiga? |

Some A1200 1D.4 revisions have problems with 2 button and CD32 joypad.
Test it on a simple A500 or A600. |

Is the switch for setting Megadrive compatibility? Or for Mastersystem? If the A1200 had a problem with 2 button controllers, it would also have a problem right-clicking with the mouse. Mastersystem controllers are wired exactly like Amiga 2-button controllers so the switch should simply separate the two buttons.

Original Master System controller has no problem on any A1200.
MD one has problem, and without a proper converter I would not use this controller on Amiga. |

I add the Tecno Plus to the list of 2Button joypad for Amiga.

Guess it should be possible if you disconnect the 2nd button from the pcb, and make it connect GND and _Button2 (which are Pin 8 and Pin 9 IIRC). Note that regretably many Joysticks have no contacts/wires for unused contacts in the cable, which means you have to replace it with a cable that features all 9 pins and wires. (likely to be needed for the CP, but not for the Elite). If someone does this mod it would be interesting to hear about. |

I had one of these back in the day. I was thinking about getting a new one as well. But I did not know it was a two independent button joystick. I only ever remember one button on it, so how can I get the two buttons to work like an A and B mode? |

ONLY 2 button for your Amiga I even have a track ball
Green button is connected to joystick up. That way I always have a jump button. Red button action 1, Blue, action 2. https://freeimage.host/i/de5Ilp https://freeimage.host/i/de5zfR Last edited by nikosidis; 19 August 2020 at 15:23. |

New and fresh joysticks with two (and even more!) buttons!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Retro Radionics joystick based on Sanwa components and with choice of many colours. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- DIY Monster Joysticks Deluxe CD32 Retro Joystic kit. Also based on Sanwa components. Supports up to seven buttons like CD32 joypads. It shoud be mentioned that seven buttons mode is depending from software and is available for all Amigas (not only on CD32)! |

This is mine. The green button connected to up so I can jump with that button in games that do not support it. The two others are action 1 and 2. 2 button Amiga joystick. No active electronics. The top plate is tilted up, just like in arcades. Last edited by nikosidis; 25 February 2021 at 15:10. |

Ha ha, that Monster stick looks very familiar I see it every time a new RetroManCave video comes out (Or RMC: the Cave at the channel is called nowadays).
