The equivalent of less than 2 amiga Floppy disks. They certainly didn't pack as much BS in this game as you guys did in your posts... |

Sounds like we hit a nerve. Must be the programmer.
Shadowfire, bloat does not necessarily suggest filling up media. Bloat can also mean symbolism over substance... |

Bloated games can be fun. It's the game itself which you're supposed to play. But just because the software developer filled the CD with bloat to make it look bigger doesn't nescesarily mean that the game is good.

Thanks Minuous. I remember this article. My question was more like a wink. Just in case of Mr Joiner (Talin) tipped the balance to the "why not, at the end"...

FTA was a great game for its time. Still is playable today. FTA2 was also great, but many unfinished things in the game they left out before release. I finished them both.

FTA II came out but only for DOS! It's called Fairy Tale Adventure II: Halls of the Dead.
[ Show youtube player ] Bummer no Amiga version, could it be ported easy peasy? The guy playing the game in the YouTube video was a bit of a dick when mentioning the Amiga unfortunately. In the UK I think it's called a wanker. Probably normally a pleasant chap just don't mention Amiga around him. Last edited by Pyromania; 04 May 2020 at 20:31. |

I bought the original hard box cd version back in 2007 from ebay USA. Played it to death and found it quite a good game.
The game was never finished and was released "as is". There was an Amiga version in the works at the same time as the PC version but was shelved when the company went broke. The full version has speech etc and reminds me of the ultima 8 style of graphics. Interesting game tho. |
